After many successful years, we have now ready to celebrate the

19th Gerry Whelan Memorial Festival. 

Once again there is an action packed weekend of traditional music, song and dance with lots of new and old faces coming together to share their music, songs and stories.

 

Memorial Concert and Official Opening By Cootehill Comhaltas Committee

Cootehill CCÉ Senior and Junior groups;

Geraldine Whelan-O’Meara and friends;

Damhsa, Ceol and Craic – Saturday – St Michael’s National School – 2:30pm

This free event will see performances from The Rafter School of Dancing

alongside an informal music session with contributions from Cootehill CCÉ

 and Workshop Tutors. Everyone is welcome to take part in this event.
